Ashley Allstun

Owner/Trainer

Dog obsessed since childhood, Ashley began by training the family pets in the backyard of her home, and to the astonishment of her parents- was actually getting results. Her love for all things "dog" grew and so did her ambitions to be a successful dog trainer.

The key to success for a trainer is a deep understanding of the mindset of a dog, how to effectively communicate with them, and build a relationship where the dog wants to work WITH you verses being forced to work FOR you. She attended one of the most respected dog training schools in the country, the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers, and to this day continues to expand her knowledge by attending training seminars around the country with some of the worlds most famous names.

Since 2007, Ashley has attained titles on both her personal and her clients' dogs in conformation (SV style and international shows), Schutzhund/IPO/IGP (tracking, obedience, protection), AKC obedience and more. She is an American Kennel Club evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, Urban, Canine, STAR puppy programs, Trick Dog Titles, and Fetch Dog Titles. She is also approved to certify dogs for therapy work through Therapy Pets Unlimited. and is a professional member of the IABCA.

Ashley has spent her life developing herself into a balanced trainer and the results speak for themselves. Rejecting the "one size fits all" dog training model commonly used in many programs, she instead modifies her training programs to meet the needs of each individual dog. Clients from around the country have sent their dogs to Ashley to be trained using her methods.
